Master school graphic design project for a vinyl album.
A personal experience and a photo taken at a concert are the basis of this project.
The theme is intended to be a commemorative album of a concert by the band “The Cure” which took place in Japan in 2019, during an international tour.
The colors revoke the official ones of the event, and the Japanese flower pattern created and applied as a photographic background wants to pay homage to the place.
The inside of the gatefold cover is dedicated to the atypicality of the line-up, which made the event historic.
The sleeve containing the vinyl disc shows all 24 pieces performed, whose titles are also shown on the back. The graphics on the vinyl sticker refer to a peculiar physical characteristic of the band’s front man.
